A Behavior Technician (BT) is a paraprofessional who works under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized behavior intervention plans in one-on-one settings, either in the home or community environment. The role is perfect for those passionate about working with children and supporting their development through positive behavior change.

Responsibilities

  • Providing direct implementation of the treatment plan that includes skill acquisition programming and behavior reduction strategies 
  • Recording and graphing data using CR Essentials platform
  • Training family members and caregivers on the treatment plan
  • Maintaining client dignity and confidentiality
  • Utilizing crisis management protocols as written
  • Scheduling and coordinating session times with BCBA
  • Attending weekly in-direct supervisions with BCBA in addition to live session supervisions

Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old 
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent Behaviorbee ABA Services
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • 1 year work experience with children, individuals with disabilities or the elderly
  • Available to work evening hours between 4:00 pm-8:00 pm, Monday - Friday
  • Reliable car
  • CPR certification must be provided or completed in the first 60 days
  • Preferred candidates are willing to complete the RBT Certification
